BEIJING , Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck the waters off Hualien County of Taiwan at 10:29 p.m. Wednesday (Beijing Time), reported the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 23.35 degrees north latitude and 121.85 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 15 kilometers, the CENC said.
